Many love stories have appeared on the Telugu screen, and even today, the directors move around the same subject perhaps without a better choice. The relationship between love and the film industry is such that. At one stage, every audience would have fallen in love. That is why the audiences always like love stories. Every director would find some new angle in the love subject, intended for his film. Even the latest director Pavan Sadineni had said that he had tried to show a novel angle in the love stories. ‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal…’ – meaning of all these three words is the same, when asked why he kept the title of his film in this manner, he says, please watch it on the screen! Though they have targeted the youth, their film would attract all classes of audiences, says Venugopal. It is the love story of three love pairs and the film had come out before the audiences. Let us find the movie review today!
Story
First pair – Ranadhir alias Randy (Harshavardhan) is a guitarist, who sings in his own coffee shop alone. His pair Sarayu (Vithika Sheru), falls in love with him.
Second pair – Raju (Vishnuvardhan) comes from a village. He alights a red bus (RTC bus) and takes shelter in the house of his friend, an assistant director. He also joins as an assistant director with his friend. He accidentally comes across Sameera (Rithu Varma), a fashion designer to the film for which he works.
Third pair – Arjun (Harish) is a radio jackie. He enjoys his life with girls. He had the confidence that he could trap any kind girl. He comes across a soft engineer Shanti (Sree Mukhi), a friend of his girl friend. Arjun makes attempts to trap her.
This is the introduction of the above three loving pairs. The three pairs have no links between any of them. However, all these three love stories proceeds jointly at a coffee shop. How their love started? What are the consequences they faced in their lives after falling in love with each other? Whether their love had gone till wedding or not? Answers to these questions have to be seen only on the screen.
Review:
From introduction, the three pairs are presented differently perhaps in the songs by the director. Moreover, all their love stories begin at a coffee shop in the film story. With his talents, the director has succeeded in bringing out a quality film with a low budget investment. The plus points of the movie are cinematography and the good songs. Moreover, the lighting and background score are excellent. All the artistes have done justice to their respective characters. No doubt, it is very easy to narrate love stories on the screen. However, it is very hard to entertain the audiences with an interesting love subject. During these days, there are many such subjects with three love pairs, because, the new directors are always opting for such stories, spending low budget for their films. However, the new director Pavan Sadineni, instead of taking regular cinemas, tried to do magic with his screenplay, with new love stories which are not connected to each other. We should complement his efforts, though the director has failed in some scenes notably. Though he chosen scenes which connected lovers to their partners, perhaps he had penned silly reasons for separating them. The reasons are not convincing at all. He portrayed a story saying that the boys will always try to make use of the girls and leave them later. Uninterestingly, he had used the same theme for all the three love stories. There is no maturity in the story understandably. Such messages would be rather good for short films but not for feature films, because the length is good only for short films and for feature films it would be two and half hours. The director has penned a story, which is missing to suit the feature film and he has actually missed the entertainment quotient very much with respect to qualitative comedy. Satyam Rajesh track and Millennium Mahanama comedy is fine and he has tickled the funny bones in the character of Raju.
The director perhaps has not give any reasons why a Rock Star would be so serious every time. Why Sarayu comes to a Rock Star and the reason for the love blossomed between them. Just by giving a hug to a girl, would she fall in love with a boy during these days? If you are in a meeting, it is obvious you have to keep your phone in silent mode. It is your minimum duty. Just because of the phone call from a lover, if she loses her promotion and she gives herself to her company owner is not justified logically in love. It is not known why heroes behaviour is portrayed without any depth or clarity in this film. There are more such meaningless, doubtful questions in this movie…
