It has the same action, romance, plot which you have seen 100 times before in Telugu films. The biggest reason why R…Raj Kumar is a big disappointment is that there is no surprise element in the film.
It is for the first time that Prabhu Deva has come up with original film. Earlier, he has given hits like Wanted and Rowdy Rathod but both were Hindi remake of South movies.
There were many scenes in R…Raj Kumarthat was actually straight away lifted from some Telugu movies. This Bollywood film is nothing but wrongly mixed Tollywood movie scenes. Scenes from Julai, Gabbar Singh, Gudumba Shankar, and Ranam can be traced in the film. There were many Telugu film actors like Sonu sood, Ashish Vidyarthi and they only increase the Telugu flavour in the film. Hijra dances and unusual fights make the movie look more like an out and out south commercial film rather than a Bollywood masala flick.
